WUNDERKIND - COLOUR IDEAS

I decided to look at colour for Felix, as it is set in the 1950s I wanted it to fit the black and white theme. The tones I used are only slightly different, but allow there to be contrast between each element. To No.2 I added a bit of texture to the grey tones, this also linked it to a film style as the colours are not so block and it adds a grainy effect. No.3 was a experiment with colour to see if it would add anymore personality to Felix, but to keep with the 1950s theme I think black and white would suit best. Using colour also took a lot longer which might not be ideal for the amount of times I will be drawing him.
