WUNDERKIND - ALTERNATE BEGINNING
After receiving feedback on my first storyboard, I decided to create another scene to introduce the protagonist. In this, we are shown the interest which he has in science, and that he is excelling. This gives more background and depth into the story.
Me again! I think you need an establishing shot after the medium shot of the kid and his books - something that opens the scene up to establish the classroom setting even more - and also show that he's working alone (other chairs, empty desks, and more obvious science stuff on the walls - blackboard with equations, all that shizzle) - you could also show a) a clock, telling the audience that he's working through his lunchbreak and b) that there is a door into the classroom - because I think we need to understand 'from where' the bully has come from etc.
