JOAN MIRO THUMBNAILS 5

These are the thumbnails I created for the buildings, I was inspired mainly by the movement of automatic drawing and simple construction. I looked at some of the shapes created by the drawing technique, and translated them to be the shape of the building. The metal poles beneath are the main structure but have be taken over by the shapes and patterns to form the building. I used different styles, and added colour to develop them further. Joan Miro's work also features some bold strong lines within them, so I added them to some of the designs. I like the shape and texture on 51, but then the composition and tone in 53.
